CORE White is a linseed oil-based Jointing Compound. It is of smooth consistency, does not contain lead and allows easy dismantling of joints when required. CORE White is suitable for flanged, or screw threaded joints and is employed mainly in the plumbing and gas-fitting industries. It may be used on pipework servicing natural gas, town gas, water, steam, brine, alcohol, and compressed air.

APPLICATION
CORE White must be applied only to previously cleaned surfaces which are free from rust, dirt, oil, grease etc. In some circumstances, the use of hemp or wick reinforcement may be advantageous, in accordance with normal plumbing practice. The smooth consistency of this jointing allows it to act as a temporary lubricant during assembly of threaded pipework, or, if required, as an aid in sealing compression joints. CORE White does not deteriorate with age, allowing easy dismantling of pipework when repairs or additions are necessary.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
CORE White presents no significant hazard during use but should be removed from the hands using a proprietary waterless hand cleaner, or soap and hot water. STORAGE Store at normal ambient temperatures. CORE White is supplied ready for use, but if thickening occurs it may be thinned by the addition of Boiled Linseed Oil.
