250ml CORE Thread Sealant (WRAS)

CORE PIPE SEALANT is designed for the instant assembly of threaded fasteners which if required can be disassembled with standard hand tools for maintenance or replacement purposes

The product is an anaerobic pipe sealant which cures when oxygen is no longer present. This occurs when the air between your two metal fittings disperses which then allows the blue liquid to cure in a matter of minutes (please see curing times). This process then forms a strong fitment which will prevent any loosening and leaks from vibrations caused to the fitment. CORE PIPE SEALANT is most often used on Brass and Steel but is also effective on Stainless Steel, Alumini­um and BZP Steel products
