The CORE thermostatic balancing valve (TBV) is a WRAS-approved Anti-Legionella device that will help keep the temperature evenly distributed and reduce ‘dead-legs’. The valve aims to improve the efficiency of DHW systems through automatic regulation and will reduce heat loss through lower circulation of hot water. The valve will automatically respond to changes in system temperature and flow requirements.
This valve is typically used for circulating hot water systems above 45°C. For the consumer, this will reduce the time they have to wait for hot water when turning on an outlet (shower, tap etc) regardless of other demands for hot water within the building, hence reducing water wastage; all whilst controlling the growth of bacteria.
