Service
Service valves are commonly installed at strategic points in the system to allow for isolation of specific components or sections for maintenance or repair work without having to shut down the entire system. Applications include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing systems, and other similar applications.
CORE service valves are marked for full traceability, supported by full warranty, and compliant with relevant British Standards. Manufactured from high quality, robust brass material, the yellow brass range offers a wide array of products ideal for heating and hot and cold water applications.
Used in various applications across industries where preventing backflow is crucial, such as in plumbing systems, pumping systems, water treatment plants, oil and gas pipelines, and HVAC systems. They help maintain system efficiency, prevent damage to equipment, and ensure the safety and reliability of fluid flow processes.
CORE currently offers cast iron dual plate wafer check valve (DN50 to DN300). PN16 cast iron swing check valve (DN50 to DN600), and screwed double check valve options (DN ½” to 2”). All have a maximum pressure of 16 bar. Our cast iron dual plate wafer and double check valves are both WRAS approved and all are tested to the relevant British Standards.
Strainer
A strainer is a device that is used to retain solid pieces when fluid passes through it in a piping system. A strainer makes the fluid pass through a straining element that has very small holes. The smaller the holes, the smaller the solid particles that will be trapped.
CORE Y Type strainers come in 2 different options; PN20 bronze BSP (DN ½” to 2”) and PN16 cast iron flanged. (DN50 to DN600). Our screwed option has a maximum working pressure of 20 bar and our flanged option has a max working pressure of 16 bar. DN50 & DN65 have square drain port and DN80-DN600 have circular drain port. All are tested to the relevant British Standards.
