Butterfly
A butterfly valve is an easy-to-operate isolation solution, as such it can be utilised in many different applications across a multitude of industries. As a result of the WRAS approval on this range, it can be used on potable water, as well as many other applications. Some common uses include heating and ventilation systems, hot and chilled water supply, process applications and water treatment.
The range is a lugged and tapped valve, available from 2” to 12”, with a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. The valves have an EPDM seat, and a Stainless Steel 316 disc with the range fully WRAS Approved. All are tested to the relevant British Standards.
Gate
Gate valves are known for their ability to provide tight shutoff, meaning they can completely stop the flow of fluid when closed. They are often used in applications where on/off control is required, such as in pipelines for water, oil, gas, and other fluids, as well as in industrial processes and utilities. used to regulate or stop the flow of fluid within a pipeline.
CORE currently offers BSP brass screwed gate valves (DN ½” to 4”), cast iron flanged gate valves (DN50 to DN600) and ductile iron resilient seat flanged gate valves (DN ½” to 12”). Flanged options have a maximum pressure rating of 16 bar and screwed options have a maximum pressure rating of 20 bar. All are tested to the relevant British Standards.
Globe
Globe valves consist of a movable disk-shaped plug (also called a disc or a valve member) that fits into a seat within the valve body. The plug is connected to a stem, which is controlled by a handwheel, actuator, or other mechanism.
